Daniel “Battl” Sejpka founded Battl Victory Records in 2015 in Switzerland. The record label has combined music publishing, artist management and distro service in one company. Since it was founded, several locations have been opened around the world. Music has always fascinated and inspired him. There are no national borders, religion, skin color or anything like that. Music connects us, protects us and lets us dream. allows us to feel almost or possibly every emotion we experience in our lives. It brings the world a little closer. The modern world requires modern ways of working and the life-work balance must also be lived. Modern and fair contracts are a must! He himself enjoys motorcycling, diving and fishing to escape from everyday life. Cars and travel are just as popular. But with all the hobbies and work, the family must never be neglected!
Vanessa ‘Miina’ Benekamp is an intern at Battl Victory Records in the field of music promotion. She has always had a passion for music and strives to support her favorite artists. Music has always been an important part of her life. Vanessa says, “Music is an important art. I have a huge respect for everyone who creates music. I want to support artists and support them on their way, that’s why I am glad to have this opportunity and being a part of BVR.” Vanessa’s enthusiasm and dedication to music promotion make her an invaluable asset to the team at Battl Victory Records. She hopes to continue to use her talents to help promote music and connect people through her work.
Kathrynn Huynh is the A&R Manager Intern at Battl Victory Records. She is an International Business with a concentration of Marketing and Communications degree student studying in Prague, Czech Republic. She is excited to incorporate music and business into her work life. Music has played a large role all throughout Kathrynn’s life and she taught herself how to play the guitar and ukulele at ten years old. Kathrynn loves to travel, attend concerts, and crocheting during her free time as well. After Kathrynn graduates from university, she will be moving back to Los Angeles, California to her family and her puppy, Timmy!
Angelina Baumgartner is one of the interns in the field of music promotion. She is currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Musicology and through her studies she is getting and give an insight in many areas of the music world, from music cultures, music history, music theory to music business. She plays piano, guitar and has been a singer for years, which has brought her to music as a career path. “I believe, that music can change the world for good. Which is why I want to support young artists to find their way in the music world.”
Alicia Eick is doing an internship as a music promoter here at Battl Victory Records. Her passion for music drives her to promote artists and bring out the best out of them. She believes that there’s talent in all genres and that every artist deserves a chance to be heard. “Music is everything. And music connect people. Regardless of age, skin color or country of orgin. That’s why I’m happy to be part of the BVR team. It allows me to support musicians who are making their way through the independence
Haruka Makino, a valued member of our team at Battl Victory Records. Haruka is a music industry professional with a diverse background in digital marketing communication, data science for business, classical music production, singing performance, and instruction.
Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Haruka’s passion for music led her to pursue her dream of becoming a music promoter in the United States. Her educational background in digital marketing communication and data science for business has given her a solid understanding of the music industry’s promotional strategies and data analysis.
Haruka’s experience as a classical music producer, singing performer, and instructor has also given her a unique perspective on the industry. Her ability to launch projects, organize and market concerts, and collaborate with others has helped her excel in her role as an intern music promoter at Battl Victory Records.
Haruka is known for her exceptional work ethic, her ability to spot emerging talent, and her passion for bringing great music to audiences around the world. Her love for music is contagious, and her natural ability to connect with artists and audiences alike makes her a valuable asset to our team.
Jaimie Waltz is a music promoter for Battl Victory Records with a strong background in literature and writing. After graduating from Western Washington University with a degree in English literature, Jaimie honed her skills in technical writing and copywriting, while also developing expertise in peer-evaluation, group leadership, copyediting, research, and analytical skills during her time in college literature classes.
Jaimie is a strong communicator and detail-oriented, with a passion for literature, media, music, and writing. She is dedicated to learning and growing, and consistently challenges herself to improve her skills and expand her knowledge. With her background in literature and her experience in writing and communications, Jaimie is a valuable asset to the Battl Victory Records team, helping to promote and support the careers of up-and-coming musicians.
